Is a Personal Chef the same as a Private Chef?
No. We do not offer private chef services. A Personal Chef prepares meal for multiple clients. Meals are prepared at the clients home.
Can I book Personal Chef services for a one time event or small intimate gathering?
No. Personal Chef services are for consistent clients whether weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. All other events and gathering would fall under our catering services.
What is the 200.00 personal chef deposit for?
The 200.00 deposit is for grocery expenses.
What happens if you do not use all of the $200.00 on groceries?
If there is a remainder balance of grocery funds it will be subtracted from your overall service balance.
Do you accommodate specific diets and allergies?
We accommodate dietary restrictions according to our clients needs.
Do I have to commit to a retainer agreement?
No. We do offer a floating calendar that is first come first serve.
How do I book a cooking classes?
Contact us through the booking form on our contact page and we will reach out to you to gather more information.
How soon can I book a catering events?
We are in high demand so the earlier the better! We book events months in advance.
Do you provide sample menus?
Yes, we provide sample menus. However, please note that you are not limited to our sample menus. We love to create custom menus for our clients! Please let us know what you would like to see on your menu and we can work with you in making your vision into a reality.
What do I need to do to secure my event date?
Your event date and time is officially booked after you read and signed your event contract, and after we have received your non refundable event deposit. Your event date is not secured until we receive both contract and deposit.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?
Yes. Please let us know at the time of inquiry of any dietary restrictions or allergies so we can plan accordingly.
Do you offer tastings?
Yes. We offer tastings for large events or weddings. We do charge for tastings with the maximum of 4 guest in attendance, any additional guest will acquire additional charges.
Can I keep any leftovers?
Unfortunately due to health and food safety regulations, any leftover/unused food and beverages cannot be given to a client and will be removed from the premises.
Do you provide drop-off services?
Yes. We offer drop-off and setup services. All drop-off items will be in foil disposable pans and wire chafing dish. We can also provide disposable plates, napkins, and cutlery.
Do you offer bartending services?
Currently we outsource bartending services for our clients. Please let us know during your initial inquiry if you would like a bartender for your event.
Besides the cost of food, what other charges can I expect?
All events will be charged 9.25% sales take for the state of TN. All events whether staffed or drop off will incur a 25% service charge. This fee covers travel that includes but not limited to gathering supplies and goods along with the time it takes to prep and plan for each event ahead of time.
What is your cancellation policy?
If a contracted event has to be cancelled we will retain the deposit fee as liquidation. Events can be rescheduled within the same year depending on availability which is not guaranteed. Any rescheduled date is subject to market price adjustments.
